You actually transfer the drills chuck to the jig then mount the drills spindle. Now you have an accurate portable drilling guide unlike the flimsy ones you can find in the market today.
This jig was manufactured by Portalign Co. in San Diego California and had long ago stopped producing it. This is one of the best drilling guide you can still find.
