DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Quinoa should be rinsed thoroughly before cooking to remove any powdery residue. Place grain in a fine strainer and hold under cold running water until water runs clear; drain well. Optional: Toast the grain in a dry skillet before cooking to give it a delicious roasted flavor.

2 cups water or broth

1 cup Wild Oats Marketplaceâ„¢ Organic Red Quinoa

1. Combine water or broth and quinoa in a medium saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil.

3. Reduce to simmer, cover, and cook until grain is translucent and the germ has spiraled out from each grain.

4. Cook about 15 minutes.

DIFFERENCE IN ALTITUDE, HARDNESS OF WATER AND PRODUCT MOISTURE MAY CHANGE THE SUGGESTED COOK TIME.

Quinoa is a natural agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Sort, remove foreign material, and rinse before cooking.
