The radiofrequency technology heats fat cells high enough to destroy the fat cell membrane causing the cell membrane to collapse. The radio frequency technology heat also tightens the skin of the treated area by stimulating collagen production. The treatment also increases the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues in the treated area by improving vascular & lymphatic circulation.It destroys fat cells and tightens & firms skin. This treatment involves gentle massage and local heat. You will feel the heat on your skin but it will not be uncomfortable. You will feel like you are having a gentle massage. Depending on the size of the area being treated, your treatment will last between 20 minutes to 40 minutes (maximum of an hour only per week).

As long as you are generally healthy and don’t have any skin diseases or infections in the area treated, there are few medical reasons why patients should not undergo this treatment.

People with sensory disturbance to the skin may not be considered good candidates as this could make the reporting of discomfort during the procedure unreliable, leading to potential harm.

Although there is no evidence that this treatment is harmful for pregnant women, you would generally be advised to wait until after you have given birth before embarking upon a course of treatment.

More importantly, people with electrical devices like pacemakers, or metal implants artificial metal hip joints, heart valves or dental plates, cannot be treated because RF current flowing through the body may interfere with these devices or heat up metal implants, which could be dangerous.
