Then go down to a lake shore resort and board a motorized outrigger for a 20 minute ride to the volcano island. Assisted by an island coordinator; trek up through a wide expanse of hardened black lava landscape till you reach the rim of the actual crater of the world’s smallest volcano (728 ft high). Visitors may rent a horse to ride up for the close up view of the island volcano with quite a history of volcanic eruptions. When you return to the shoreline resort enjoy a sumptuous lunch.
