Ideally proposed for those who plan to visit Angkor Siem Reap with plenty of time to explore Angkor complex as well as having free times on the first and last day of the itinerary. Basically discover Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom… the intricately carved Banteay Srei and witness everyday life of people living on high stilt houses.

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL & CITY ORIENTATION
Welcomed by escort tour guide (with sign name) then transfers directly to hotel for check in. After check in, we journey out to visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors, have a guided walking tour around Artisan d’Angkor – the finest wood/stone carving centre and stroll around old market. Evening, transfer to have buffet dinner followed by Apsara dance performance at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap for 4 nights.

DAY 2 | ROLOUS GROUP & BANTEAY SREI
Today we drive to visit the major capital of Angkor era “Rolous Group” consisting of Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko, known as the first great Khmer temples dating from the late 9th century. After lunch, explore the well preserved intricately carved Banteay Srei made of beautiful pink sandstone and admired by palm sugar making, the serenity of Banteay Samre temple. We will climb up to Pre Rup temple to watch beautiful sunset overlooking the rice paddies.

DAY 3 | ANGKOR DISCOVERY
We depart hotel at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces, admired by Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm with the stunning tree roots. After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – is the world’s heritage and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history and its ancestral incredible masterpieces. Climb to watch beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance). Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4 | PHNOM KULEN WATERFALL
Today we begin our tour at 9.00am to visit Phnom Kulen – one of Cambodia’s national parks and a great place to cool off. This hill used to be the ancient capital city and in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. We have a guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom (Giant Buddha statue), it’s a very special and holy place where there are many people religiously respect and pray for happiness. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, see the secret pool where the white clear water source comes out of the ground-pool all year round. Resume the walking tour to the beautiful clear waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Evening, transfer to have set menu dinner at our selected restaurant.

DAY 5 | TONLE SAP LAKE & DEPARTURE
Journey out of hotel at 8.00am to visit Kompong Khleang village – the largest stilt house/floating village situating at the bank of Tonle Sap Great Lake. En-route to taste a few bites of famous traditional bamboo sticky rice, resume observe incense making before exploring Kompong Khleang whose daily life is animated by fishing activities, see amazing high stilted houses and visit floating village of Tonle Sap Lake. Return hotel then transfer to airport for flight departure back home.
