Our spirulina is cultivated in man made ponds where it is constantly monitored to ensure it's purity and that it is free from heavy metal and chemical contamination.

Spirulina is the common name for two species of cyanobacteria, or blue-green algae. A staple food of the Aztecs until the 16th-century, it is now cultivated throughout the world.

Suggested Use
Spirulina Guacamole

Ingredients
2 avocados, pitted
1/8 cup lemon juice
1/8 cup lime juice
1 package Simply Organic Guacamole Dip Mix
2 to 3 tablespoons spirulina
1 tomato, seeded and chopped or 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved

Directions
Spoon avocado pulp into a blender or food processor. Add lemon juice and lime juice. Add Guacamole Mix and spirulina. Blend until desired texture.

Spoon mixture into medium mixing bowl. Fold in diced tomatoes. Serve immediately or chill until served.
