3 signs that your child is a musical prodigy

1. Exhibit attention, focus and enjoyment when music is present
Musical prodigies possess deep focus and interest on a certain type of musical instrument or genre of music. They tend to display this when music is played.

2. Recognize and respond to rhythms, melodies and harmonies
Your child is a possible musical prodigy if he or she can follow and get along to a rhythm or melody an just a short span of time. He/she may also create his or her own when taking a shower or coloring a page.

3. Display deep curiosity and interest in musical interest
Researchers say that prodigies are inclined to a specific type of instrument. He or she devotes his/her time and effort, induce curiosity and interest on one instrument; this is different from those who are excelling in different areas or instruments.
