Buzzkill Carbon Heat Shield is perfect for blocking out even the most severe heat sources that conventional deadening may not be able to handle. Rated to withstand continuous temperatures of up to 982 degrees Celsius (1,800 fahrenheit), our Carbon Heat Shield is suitable for a variety of different applications.

As a point of reference, aftermarket car exhaust wraps (fiberglass, vermiculite) are usually rated anywhere from 530 to 700 degrees Celsius continuous.

Also works effectively as a noise absorber in place of rebanded foam or factory installed car acoustic felt foam.

Comes in two variants; with and without adhesive backing.

Uses:
No adhesive variant: Welding and grinder blanket (protect surroundings against slag and sparks), car floor liner, oven insulation, kitchen exhaust pipe insulation, kitchen heat shields, furnaces, chimneys and smoke stacks etc.

With adhesive variant: Car firewall (engine bay side), tranny tunnel, under hood liner, flooring, ceiling, race cars, trucks, generator housing, boat engine compartment, etc.
