DOLE DO 198-18 requires medium risk establishments with more than 99 workers, and high risk establishments with 10 or more workers to designate the company Safety Officer 3. Industrial Hygiene training is in compliance with DOLE DO198 series of 2018, the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the OSH Law Republic Act No. 11058.
Safety Officer 3 must complete 40-hr advanced OSH and 8-hr specialized OSH training, a total of 48 hours. 40 hours BOSH and or COSH are not considered advanced or specialized.
